1. Which touch screen technology is most suitable for my application?
We offer resistive and projected capacitive technologies, two of the most widely used touch screen technologies on the market. However, in general, it depends on your specific application, especially the product's anti EMI interference, cost considerations, product durability, product performance, etc.
2. How do I submit an RMA?
To submit an RMA, please contact your local sales representative or dealer, or send an inquiry through our after-sales service website. Please provide detailed information about your product, including order number, product serial number, production date, etc. Our team will contact you and provide the necessary documentation and guidance for the RMA process.
3. What are the standard dimensions and configurations of your product?
We have a standard product line of PCAP touch screens and touch display modules; For more standard parts lists, please contact our sales team.
4. How long does a custom development project take?
This question is difficult to answer precisely - because there are significant differences in customer needs. One of the reasons lies in the requirements for product performance, certification, and other aspects. If the customer's requirements and application of the product's end use are clear, the product solution can be designed within 1-2 days. However, if extensive consultation is required on performance requirements, housing and LCD selection, custom sensor mode design, etc., the design phase can take several weeks.
5. How do I clean the touch screen?
This largely depends on the type of touch screen to be cleaned - resistive touch screens are prone to damage from cleaning agents or chemicals, while projective capacitive touch screens tend to be more resistant. The product specification document will provide more detailed instructions. The following are general guidelines for cleaning projection capacitive screens: • When cleaning touch screens, do not use any strong acidic, alkaline, or organic chemical solvents. • When the panel needs cleaning, it is recommended to use a neutral detergent or isopropyl alcohol When cleaning the touch screen, please use a soft cloth to avoid scratches.
6. Touch screen storage
Touch screens are susceptible to static electricity, extreme temperatures and humidity, and rough handling. When selecting the space location and conditions for storing touch screens, it should be noted that: • Touch screens must be stored in areas with environmental temperature and humidity control as recommended in the specifications, and should not be in contact with chemical or acid or alkali materials, To avoid affecting panel functionality • The touch screen should not be stored in a humid environment • It should not be exposed to direct sunlight • The touch screen should be stored in its original packaging
7. Touch screen processing
Touch screens made of glass are prone to breakage, scratches, or other damage. Be careful when handling to prevent injury to other objects or people. The following are general operating guidelines: • When handling panels, it is recommended to wear gloves to prevent fingerprints, dirt, or particles from leaving on the glass, as well as to avoid injury to people due to the sharp edges of the glass. • When handling the panel, please hold the glass edge and place the film face up to avoid scratches or dirt on the film When assembling a glass panel, do not bend or twist the panel excessively; Because this may cause deformation of the panel When working on FPC or COF, excessive pulling or tightening should be prohibited or avoided. During assembly, the tail should not be folded or bent too much. The recommended minimum bending radius is 3 mm. The touch panel must not be fixed by FPC or COF Once the touch screen is removed from its original packaging, do not stack it, as edges may cause scratches. Do not stack heavy objects on the touch screen.
